With over 25 years of consulting, design, engineering, architecture, field and management experience in the local area, we can give you the edge you need to keep your project moving and complete it in a timely fashion.

Our clients in the private and public sectors have more things they must accomplish on their projects than ever before. Regulations are changing with more frequency. There is an on-going emphasis on green and sustainable design that makes it important to understand design fundamentals while applying creativity and innovation to projects.

Working with state and local agencies on an almost daily basis keeps EDR in touch with changing regulations and allows us to build relationships with regulators, council members, and planning boards. As members of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), EDR stays engaged and updated on the latest trends in sustainable design.

EDR Engineering is a Raleigh, North Carolina consulting firm practicing in the areas of civil engineering and land surveying under the laws of the State of North Carolina. Our firm provides civil engineering, land surveying and construction services in support of private and public land development projects. We have expertise in many segments of development including commercial, institutional, single-family/multi-family residential and recreational sites, industrial and office buildings, and hospital/medical facilities. EDR staff has the knowledge and ability to work in a rapidly growing area, while applying our creative skill to meet regulatory requirements. Our goal is that each project is done right the first time, within your timeframe.

EDR Engineering is a wholly owned subsidiary of Etscheid, Duttlinger & Associates, Inc., a corporation founded on September 22, 1987 and whose corporate office is located in Ottawa, Illinois.

EDR staff has the knowledge and ability to work in a rapidly growing area like the Triangle and apply our creative skill to meet regulatory requirements, provide practical engineering solutions, and respond quickly to new design trends.
